My Musings

Those of you of a certain age will recognize the song ‘Working For The Weekend’ from Loverboy. That sums up my life for the last few weeks. Several work projects, some expected, some unexpected, all came due in the final week of September, which meant that I ended up working very long days plus weekends to meet all the deadlines. That combined with shuttling my son to and from school events during homecoming week have made for a very busy time. All that being said, I’m looking forward to this weekend to rest, reset, and recharge. I hope all of you are getting to do the same!

Mechhaven Missives

Thanks to all of you the Mechhaven books had a great week last week. Pax Machina spent most of the week in the Top 10 of several free categories and even made it to #1 in Alien Invasion Science Fiction eBooks for a time. Mechs and Machinations and On Darkhaven Forged saw nice bumps in their paid categories too!

Rally Point is coming along, however, the perfect storm of deadlines at work put a damper on my creative time and energy the last few weeks. I’m looking forward to shifting my focus back to writing so I can wrap it up.
