February is upon us once again. Groundhog day just passed, and I heard that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow so predicted six more weeks of winter. I’m not sure how reliable his predictions are, but I guess we’ll wait and see.
Many people enjoy the movie, Groundhog Day. I remember liking it when it first came out, but it has been so many years since I’ve seen it that it might be time to rewatch it. Have you ever seen Edge of Tomorrow? It was released in 2014 and stars Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The movie shares a lot of similarities with Groundhog Day, but is a Sci-Fi action movie. That one is more my speed and definitely deserves a rewatch!
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent me their favorite mech, robot, droid, or other artificially intelligent being. This will help me with something I’m planning for this Spring. If you didn’t respond yet, but would like to, I’m still accepting ideas. This will be a lot more fun with your input. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
For what I’d like to do, please send me the name/model of your favorite mech, robot, android, droid, or other artificially intelligent being and the franchise that they’re from. If you can’t narrow it down, send me more than one.
Mechhaven Missives
- I’m currently working on my second editing pass through Mechhaven Book 4: Rally Point. This time around I’m looking for where I need to expand existing scenes or need to add new scenes. Currently, I’m on Chapter 7.
- As I’m working through Book 4, I’m also keeping an eye out for things that need to be in place for Book 5, which I’ll start outlining when I send Rally Point off to my editor.

Customer service is everything, no matter how abhorrent the customer.
Customer service is the most important thing these days. The best ways to deliver great customer service is to know your product, maintain a positive attitude, respond quickly, and focus support on the customer.
This is especially important when you’re in the business of contributing to other people’s families and unfortunately, and is regardless of whether or not you think the customer is worthy of your product…
