Last weekend was Comic Con Revolution in Ontario, California. This was my last planned show for the year and I had a blast! I wouldn’t mind attending two or three more, especially in the Autumn, but for the foreseeable future my focus is on finishing Mechhaven Book 5: By Archangel’s Light. As you’ll see in my Mechhaven Missives, I’ve been making pretty good progress, but first some highlights.
My wife and sons attended CCR as well. They watched over my table whenever I needed bathroom breaks or wanted to check out Artists Alley and the Exhibitor room. They made several sales while I was away, so I rushed back to sign copies for people who bought my books.
One highlight of my weekend was when Badical Radness (YouTuber/Instagrammer) who I’d learned about through the Geek Off The Street Podcast, bought all four of my books! I appreciate his support!
More next time when I highlight and review some of the cool books and comics I picked up!
Mechhaven Missives
- 50,000 words! It’s been a long time coming, but my push over the last two months has paid off. I can say that I am now 50% complete with the first draft of By Archangel’s Light. I hit just over 12,000 words in April and I’m already over 13,000 words in May. With seven more days left in the month, I’m hoping to squeeze out a few thousand more words. At my current pace, I should wrap up the first draft by mid-August (maybe sooner if I push). I’m hoping to release the book by the end of 2024…it’s going to be close, but I think I can do it!

Hey Greg
Can’t believe you left us hanging right in the middle of so many battles…LOL any way just wanted to say if you decided you wanted to make your books 7 or 800 pages we wouldn’t be disappointed 🙂 just sayin’…. You rock… But hurry up with Bk 5, I’m chompin’ at the bit….
Hi Kim,
Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, I had to cut off Rally Point somewhere…I think that was a pretty good point, considering everything that’s about to happen. I’m about halfway done with Book 5 and it’s all action from here on out. I’m hoping to release it by the end of the year!
